A very quiet field track meanders down to a rugged coastline that has been ravaged by the storms which have taken several kilometres of the island since it emerged from the Atlantic Ocean. Once an area used for growing crops it is now deserted and its farms stand in ruins.  The walk showcases the only landing port on the north coast prior to the use of bulldozers.

A good place to stop for a break is at the old boat shed before making the climb back to our starting point.
