Booking with us
When you book a tour or walk with us we want to take away your stress, so we make these commitments to you:
- We will confirm your booking by message or email within 24hrs
- On the day of your walk or tour the guide will personally message each lead contact with their details and confirm the collection point
- Our aim is to go at your pace. We always have time to stop a while and fully enjoy the views
- Transport normally will be in the Green UMM, it's pretty hard to miss
- We all know the weather can be changeable. Ferry's get cancelled and Aircraft get diverted, so, if we are unable to comfortably carry out your booking, we will try to rebook a suitable time.
Cancellation policy
Full refunds will be given in the following circumstances:
You, the customer, cancel your booking more than 24 hours prior to the start of the activity via the contacts form on the Portosantowalks.com website and we confirm receipt of the same.
We, Portosantowalks, cancel your booking due to one or more of the following conditions:
Bad weather which makes the activity unsafe or impractical; Official closure of walking paths or roads; Unforeseen operational issues.
Please note, in the event that we are unable to fulfil your original booking we will always offer an alternative option. If you are unable to accept this option, we will similarly issue a full refund.
No refunds will be issued in the following circumstances:
You, the customer, cancel your booking within 24 hours of the start of the activity.
You, the customer, do not show up for the activity at the pre-arranged time and place.
We do not offer partial refunds or refund any expenses incurred as a result of a cancellation, including but not limited to the purchase of hiking passes from the Simplifica Madeira website.
Refunds after cancellation will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase of the activity.
